GB Scaffolding provided scaffold access at Mollington Church to support essential masonry works, stonework repairs and repointing to the main church tower.
Project Requirements
The project required fully boarded working platforms around the perimeter of the tower, giving trades safe and stable access to carry out repair works. As the church remained in use, careful consideration was needed to maintain public access while working within a sensitive heritage setting.
Our Solution
We installed scaffold access around the main tower, with fully boarded platforms designed to support the repair teams throughout the works. Extra care was taken around the graveyard, surrounding grounds and church access routes, with the site layout planned around limited access and vehicle restrictions.
Outcome
The scaffold provided safe, practical access for the masonry and repointing works while helping protect the surrounding area and maintain access to the church. The project was delivered with the care and consideration required for a live heritage site.
